For mine I did a 1776 on top of a Bald Eagle nest with a words stating "Bicentennial Birthday" under the nest on the top of a cake and the year 1976 on the side of the cake.
I don't have the quilt or pictures of it anymore as my sister took everything to a storage shed and then burned everything I owned in it without my knowledge or permission.
