Welcome back! I've never used an embroidery machine but have been quilting my own quilts on a Juki 2200 QVP Mini (same as Juki TL 2010) for the last 5 years now. I'm very happy with the way my quilts have turned out. At only $1000 for the machine, I feel that it's a good option for me. Also, it doesn't need a lot of room like a longarm does.
