I am aware this is an old thread. But f you read this if you are looking for a 1222 or better a 1222e look on eBay there are many of them that come from estates sales and are barely used. You can check the sellers feedback before you buy and if the machine is listed as used and not parts or repair it has to work 100% or you can return it at the sellers expense.I have been a member for 20 years.Yes I specialize is vintage Pfaff mechanical machines .
