Checking in on the new thread. Bookmarked and ready to continue with this community of quilty friends frequently.

Spoiled children. I saw many in my classrooms from age three to college age. I always recommend that parents nip it in the bud or the child will pay dearly when they grow older when friends begin to make let them know their behavior is cruel or nasty or simply ostracize the child. Inviting parents into the classroom frequently resulted in parents of the unruly exclaiming "How do you get him/her too do that?" An open door for parent education. Well, we appear to be in agreement, that "no" and "not now", "let's say that in another way", and "let's try any way", can go a long distance to mold a little one in to a delightful, inquisitive and pleasant child. My grands are now all well the little child stage, two in college, two in high school and one in middle school, but they still need an occasional "no, not now or try it another way". Don't we all!

Sending out my bundle of F8th soon. Here we gooooo!
