I had my time saver version of stuff peppers made and in the freezer . it's thawed and ready to bake. I'll make rice with it. Salad from the garden. Well every meal has a salad now, produce is ready to pick everyday. Also made the time saver version of lemon pie. This pie is so good especially if left in fridge over night.
I found this recipe in my grandmothers kitchen cabinet hand written on a church bulletin. Lucille must have brought the pie to a church potluck.
Lucille's Lemon Ice Box Pie
1 - 8 oz Sour Cream - low fat or whatever
1 - regular size box of vanilla instant pudding- can use no sugar one, no difference in taste.
1/2 cup lemon juice or lime juice add more to taste
1 8 oz carton Cool Whip or other
Mix sour cream and pudding mix, all lemon juice, fold in cool whip, put in prepared graham cracker crust and put in ice box for a few hours.
