I ordered the BabyLoc Jazz II a few weeks ago from Sewing Machine Plus to use as a backup machine for when my Janome needed a time out for repairs. It was on sale for around $800 plus you got additional feet free (they were on back order) and a walking foot (also back ordered), bobbins (which I never got) and I ordered the acrylic fitted table top. Two weeks after the machine came I got the free attachments, and two days ago the table top finally arrived. Walking foot and bobbins are coming by a slow boat from China I guess. I found a BabyLoc dealer close by and bought my own walking foot so I can quilt, but I still want the one I was suppose to get and didn't.
The machine is loud to me, and yes I have it on a cushioned pad. The 1/4" foot is for a scant seam which I don't like. I though I was getting a sepertine stitch and only got a zig zag. Actually there isn't much about the machine that I do like, but it does stitch evenly. Never again will I order a machine on line.
