I now spray or glue baste my quilts before putting on my Cutie Breeze. The layers stay completely in place and I don't need very much extra fabric hang over at the sides, top, and bottom. Takes a little time but saves a lot of scrap batting and backing fabric. The LA I use sometime wants at least 8 inches of batting and backing around. Something to do with using the Sew Tite leaders. Convenient for her but costly to me. Pin basting would be my choice if I was hand quilting.
