My seam allowance is a scant quarter, normally perfect for this block. But no. When I add my final pieces to the last unit, no seam allowance at the point. I don’t get it. Obviously I’m doing something wrong but I cannot find it. I guess I’ll step away from it for now and look at it again in a few days. I feel my sanity slipping over this block.

Just had to vent my frustration to boomers who might understand. My friends here wouldn’t get it since they don’t piece. Ugh.

Here are two blocks I made. The first is for Lstew and the second for SusieQ. The block for Lstew is the one that drove me crazy until I gave up and changed the plan. I do like it but wasn’t what I wanted. (I still haven’t given up on the original pattern.). And Susie asked for muted colors and she approved this one, thank goodness. Hope you both are happy.

Our shrimp boil was a complete success other than hubby making way too much.

Anyone have any cucumber recepies they would like to share, these last couple days of sunshine have been a real boom for them.

Today is supposed to be the last summer feeling day for a while. We stayed at the lake and will enjoy today but looking forward to the week of cool fall temperatures

Janice I will have to try the Aunt Diana block again, it’s the middle section that goofs me up.
