I just clip my blocks onto a skirt hanger. I use the larger ones with the metal clips that I can slide to different widths. I then just hang the blocks in the closet. You can hangs several blocks on one hanger.
I was wondering about doing that. I don't commonly store blocks except on the design wall, but I store a lot of my yardage on hangers in the closet. It seems like this would be a handy solution and would keep the block out of the way.
