They do - I've had my KAI 5045 for over 25 years and it's FAR more ergonomic than that Olfa one because you don't have to squeeze any handle to use it. When you press it down on the mat, the sheath automatically retracts and the blade is exposed. When you lift it off the mat, the sheath slides back down. I absolutely love this cutter! I'm so glad this was the one recommended to me when I took my first quilting class all those years ago. I used that Olfa one when I worked at my LQS and didn't like it nearly as much as my KAI.
