Cheese, your lunch and learn sounds interesting. I hope to have similar opportunities through the guild I joined. Enjoy.

GramE, please don't change your mind on making me a Christmas tree, I find having several will balance out the design of the quilt, having 4 blocks with the same theme makes it easier for placement.
Today I am going to a "lunch and learn" at the clubhouse for a Quilts of Valor presentation. I'm hoping to get involved in this organization and would love to make quilts for our veterans.
SBG, you are amazingly prolific in your quilting. Two more quilts done? Wow.

Great blocks, Terri. That tree is too cute! Love the one for SusieQ, too. It’s one of my favorite blocks.
The Falling Star block is cool, GramE. To me it reminds me of a medal. Can’t wait to see it in its second incarnation.
I got another two lap quilts made, based on Walkabout, but without the chevrons. I put a big 4patch in between the focus fabrics, rather than the chevrons. I’m going to have a whole lot of stippling in my near future.
The star is spectacular but I won't post it yet.

I’ll let you all see it, but it might not look the same when Janice posts it over to the album.
Janice please don’t post this as it is gonna change now that I’ve seen it in print. Thanks!
Terriamn, love your Christmas tree and your block for SusieQ. I once lost an f8 in my sewing room and it has never turned up. I keep expecting to find it in my bins but it is gone. That was over 10 years ago!

Two blocks today. Cheesehead hope you are open for another Christmas tree, I added the gold to match one of your other blocks that had gold in it. Second block is for Susie Q, loved working with these colors.
Funny thing, I was interrupted after finishing one side of the tree trunk. Came back and couldn’t find the piece for the life of me. After looking everywhere I sat down frustrated at my sewing machine and there it was hanging off the back of the machine.
