b.zang, would you like to share which kit you bought? I'd love to see it. I've not yet been inspired to take on a Judy Neidermeyer pattern. But I have found it helpful to review patterns over a period of time, and each time the familiarity grows and it seems less daunting. Good luck in getting to this project!
The pattern is "Rainbow Crystal", available at Quiltworx. The finished size is 90x90. The quilt was hanging in a quilt shop I found on a trip and I had left my phone on the cutting table while fetching more fabric and my daughter took a picture of the quilt without my knowledge. About a week later she pointed it out in my photos. The shop did not have it as a kit but were kind enough to put everything together and mail it to me. I forgot to ask the price ahead of time but it all came in a big box and the pattern is thick. I'll see if I can attach a picture and you can read about it at
