Still slashing and dicing the fabric and whirring the sewing machine. I now have my 26?? crazy blocks started. Each block is somewhere around 1/2 the area it will need, but in different shapes.
Yesterday I spent some time again taking the trims from previous rounds and making them crazy. I am staying surprisingly non-crazy. This is not really the way I usually work. I usually have a much more drawn out pattern to start, but in this case at least, sometimes the dimensions you draw are not the dimensions the fabrics want to give. When I am making the base blocks bigger, I can have some... squarer... pieces in between the triangle points of the blocks.
