I had to go to the bank last week... there just happens to be a thrift store about 4 doors down in the strip mall. I went and picked up two pieces of fabric - thought they might be big enough to act as a backing for an I Spy quilt (they were hockey-themed). Walked through the store towards the cash desk, turned around, and returned them to the crafty corner. I'm not making I Spy quilts right now and I already have a couple of pieces of "young" fabric that would work.
In other good news, I'm about 2/3 of the way around my binding on a donation quilt - it's been held up by good weather encouraging garden cleanup and other "real life" distractions.
