Thanks so much for hosting, Heather, and glad to hear you can participate too. Two years later after my move and no art has been placed, some things still hiding, but I have a pretty functional sewing studio!
I am still working on my current Dragon Hoard top. I have small panel dragon blocks trimmed and framed and alternating with crazy quilt blocks. It is starting to come together pretty fast, I have lots of little bits of quick pieced crazy blocks but I need to make those into 13.5".
I cut a piece of paper 14" square and use that to help determine the size of my blocks, I can layout the pieces and see where I need to trim/stretch out the blocks.
I will be going to a quilt guild retreat the weekend of November 8, I want to be able to put together the top then. Any progress I make this VQW will help to make that happen!
