Boy, my books on hold/new releases are coming off hold right, left and center. And I'm sleeping a bit better, but still going through about 3 books a week. Sometimes when I'm sewing I have on music, sometimes books...
I was 2 books behind on the "girl with the ..." series featuring LIsbeth Salander. Am caught up now with
The Girl with Ice in Her Veins. Not sure I like the direction of the current author of the series. Still good for what they are, and true, Lisbeth is getting older, but she isn't quite the same... we seem to be clearing off the old characters for new.

The List was a bit of a change. Same author, same narrator -- different character (no Cotton Malone)! It was an early story of the author recently finished and updated. Michael Connolly did that to me earlier this year, or at least gave me a non-Bosch universe book (with a different narrator).
Am continuing with the Patricia Wolf (author) DS Walker series, set in Australia. Have the 4th (Nemesis) to go. Coincidentally, earlier this year hubby and I binge watched Outback Opal Hunters so I have a further understanding of the area. We enjoy this type of reality based show and found it fascinating.

I enjoyed the
Wedding Dress Sewing Circle by Jennifer Ryan. I'm not sure how "authentic" the characters were, but heck, I enjoyed the story.
