I make a lot of prayer quilts for my church and many of them are the D9P which goes fast and I always try to use my main fabric to match the recipients likes or hobbies. You can look up the pattern on google and it is so simple and turns out really nice. Sorry about your BIL, I lost my brother, mom and dad to cancer and many extended family. It is so sad.
