My latest fig invention is to slice them in half and soak them for a day in fresh grape juice and a little christmas spices. (We had grape juice left over from making wine and vinegar, so hey...why not?) After they soak in the fridge for a day, I put them in the dehydrator until they are dense and chewy. Yummmm! My new favorite snack!
