So many beautiful blocks! So many wonderful lives being lived. You all are an amazing group of gals!

I have not posted any pictures yet but I am having fun with the few quiet moments I get to do anything related to quilting. As the biggest procrastinator in the group, I still have plans get my blocks in on time. Let's hope this year is no different. I will post pictures after they are all mailed in. Half the blocks already in Janice's hands! That's amazing, ya'll.

Sewbizgirl, thank you for offering to help those of us with too many balls in the air at one time.

My pup goes to the LSU vet hospital to get a CAT scan. After going to a bunch of different vets, it appears that she may have a cancerous tumor in her nose. The doctor that diagnosed nose polyp did the best he could with the xrays that they did but come to find out they were not dental xrays. Long story short, her appetite is fine and her energy levels are normal. Blood work is good, too. She snorts and has clear mucous and that's it so far. I will find out more on Nov 11.

BTW, I cannot stand the idea of losing her. But the second I think she is any kind of pain or quality of life diminishment, I will not let her suffer.

Have any of you had a dog with something on the top of their nose that interfered with their quality of life? Right now it looks like a swollen vein. It is not on her cheeks which would have made doctors tell me "tooth abscess" a long time ago. The vein swelling is a recent addition to her symptoms. It doesn't hurt her at all and loves for me to scratch her nose as usual. She is a chihuahua.... very quiet, rarely barks, and loves driving back and forth with me on my journeys. Loves to watch me play with fabric, too.
