Quossum Bonnie's quilts are intense, but I've never seen anyone provide instructions that are as good as her are. I'm sure that if you have time, you can do it!
My Old Town - last year's mystery - is on the design wall. The sashing units are giving me fits. The 1-1/2" x 2" FG are perfect, but where they come together with the "snowballed" rectangle... Ugh. I cannot get those points to lie nicely together. It is what it is; I would never have a quilt judged (way too stressful!) and make them for my own pleasure and enjoyment. So. If they are off a smidge, they are off a smidge.
I guess I am more likely than not to join in again as I just ordered a black background (Sparkles on Black by Figo). Once again, I am changing my colors from those suggested. I won't be sure what they will be until I see the background in person, but am thinking coral, magenta or fuchsia and a yellow. It's going to be very, very bright, that's for sure. I don't remember the last time I used only one background fabric, so hope I don't end up regretting it.
