Janice, the Steam a Seam should work just fine. I use washable 1/4" double sided tape to hold my binding in place whether I sew the back down by hand or machine stitch it down, works great for me.
Sorry I have been absent for a while. I've been busy cleaning the house in an attempt to have it ready for Thanksgiving. The lead glass chandelier over the dining table sparkles once again, it must have been really bad! Also been busy with DH's Dr appointments. He was recently diagnosed with skin melanoma and now we are awaiting a date for his surgery. Prognosis is good and we hope that our return trip to Alabama will not be delayed. At this point, no chemo or radiation should be needed, fingers crossed all will be well.
WMUTeach, I am always amazed and impressed with how much you accomplish! I so wish I could light a fire under my bum to get more projects done. Maybe that should be my New Years Resolution!
