Snooze, way back in January, Happylab suggested that some of us may like the motivation of a once a month challenge to finish a UFO. She asked that those who to wanted to give this method of tackling UFOs a try to make a list of quilts they want to finish and number them 1 to 12, aka one a month. Each month she would pull a number out of a "hat" and that is the quilt we would work on for that month. It was not a requirement to be part of the group and many like you, just worked through your pile of UFOs successfully finishing projects. Others enjoyed the fun of not knowing that quilt in our pile would be chosen next to finish in any particular month. Happylab has offered an end of the year small gift to any one who did all 12 of their UFOs on their list.
The whole idea was to just keep us motivated to complete UFOs. Not required. In my case, I made my list, found more UFOs, expanded my list and did at least one a month but I did not always finish the "number of the month" for what ever reason. In the end, for me having the number each month kept me moving forward on finishing my UFOs.
Congratulation on working toward finishing such a large quilt with custom quilting! Understood why one month would not be long enough!

Keep at it and please post a photo at any point. Finished and progress toward finished are always encouragement for the rest of us.
I hope to see you again in 2026 UFO Challenge.....Well of course unless you have all of your UFO's finished! Tee-Hee-Hee!
