Yay, Petthefabric, I'm glad you will be able to join us and hope you can get the picture posting figured out. I am hoping in my trip next week my friend Barb will be able to transition me to actually taking pictures with my cellphone, and how to transfer them that way. My vision issues prevent me from doing much online on my phone, but I will have my laptop with me too.

I think there are a number of people waiting until after Thanksgiving to start on the traditional Black Friday weekend. You will be in good company. And I'm going to miss a week of Bonnie and will have to do my own catch up a week or two from now...

I'm including some of the trimming pictures because periodically we get comments on the board on "I hear about cutting large but how does that work?".

Most of my units came out very well -- I did get them trimmed at group. I think they all would have been acceptable if I cut to Bonnie's directions -- she really does give good directions. A couple did go a bit on the narrow side of the trim, but with the cutting large I pretty much never have to redo any. Which is good because part of the other secrets to my success (in addition to ironing and pinning) is using tiny stitches that I really can't see and it is easier for me to redo than unsew. When I have to redo stuff, it is a big deal for me, so I try not to. I used to do it with a lot of thought and precision and adequate vision, now I'm a little easier going.
