The regular instructions do seem to be incorrect... I haven't seen a correction by Bonnie yet. For those of us using squares, it isn't much of an issue. For you strip type triangle piecers it might be a greater thing. It is in the Traditional Instructions at the top right side of page 1 of the PDF.
Was a simple mistake, we cut large squares into 4 sections to make the large geese, that makes a certain number of units which is correct (as are the numbers just before the Traditional section), those are the numbers of units and sizes you need to make.
We need the same number of squares for the little triangle wings as we have units of the goose. She tells us to cut the correct number of little squares, just didn't multiply the number when dividing the square into two pieces... not a big issue.
