I saw the Collage Quilter at the Houston Show in 2024. She has a nice technique and some lovely fabric bundles that coordinate with some of her patterns. She demonstrated her technique at the Show. Of course I bought a fabric bundle that I haven't done a thing with yet.
I like the Collage Quilter as well. I bought a kit and have just watched a few videos and then sat down to give it a try. I've made a lady bug and a rooster. Usually I would work on these a bit and then leave them alone for a few days and then come back and see if I still liked the fabric placement.
Of course, those were pretty small projects. I've also started two Laura Heine patterns - a Santa Claus and one with pigs. These larger ones are a bit harder for me for some reason. So I suggest start small.
