Decided to make the size of BH directions and adjust at the end. Maybe more squares or maybe an extra border. TBD.
I always turn these square quilts into rectangles. It's pretty close to the same number of squares. I'm a visual person, so when the final reveal is shown, I print off a copy. I then use my scissors and cut off a column of blocks with the border and tape it to the bottom. It's a great way to visually see if I need to make more of anything. It usually just means that I have a block extra.
