I remembered ordering titanium blades some years ago and I do like them and they seem to last much longer but can't remember who the seller was but I remember it was a tool company and not a sewing company so maybe it was the same folks you ordered yours. Titanium blades do seem to last longer plus if you have a self healing cutting mat seems to help also.
