Contact loss was a bit of a panic attack but I made it through the trip, and in the "it could be worse" if I was 2 inches shorter when the gate smacked my face it would have taken out my good eye instead of getting my cheek. I've lived a lot of my life with the "it could be worse" comparison...

Got so much done today even though not as much as I hoped. I am done cutting clue 3, and did a load of laundry including some lovely gray (my purple) batiks from Barb. I have always been a believer in pre-washing but now I do it as a stash reduction device -- it really makes me pause buying or even bringing home fabrics when I have the rule that it must be washed as soon as it comes home.

Musically we are almost out of the E's. I was born in 1960 and am basically "That 70s Show" generation and right between the ages of Weird Al and Art Alexakis (the singer in the video). I have nothing in common with the early baby-boomers, only that I came out before birth control was readily available. I grew up wanting the teach the world to sing, and to smile at my brothers and come together right now... I watched Bandstand and listened to Casey Kasem and American Top 40...

Everclear - AM Radio (and yes, that is the video when it starts!)
There isn't any place that I need to go
There isn't anything that I need to know I did not learn from the radio
