Well, I have a date with my surgeon January 13 for my gallbladder removal. It's outpatient. I couldn't be more relieved! I used to work with his patients. It's nice to know the person who's working on you. I guess one of the perks of being a nurse. After my one and only gallbladder attack last summer I've actually wanted this news. It could be much worse. I've had very minimal symptoms except for that one night and I don't want to repeat it or have complications which you can have if you let it go. At least in my case it's true.
I expect next year to be a little crazy. Paul needs back surgery but he had an abnormal EKG so he has to have another stress test in January. Always something! But overall, life is good and I'm grateful for so much!
