We made it safely back to our Texas home. Twenty four hours on the road and it went smoothly. I handled the ride very well no problems other than motion sickness the first night. Second day I used my EarPods and listened to a book instead of reading and all was well.
Thankful we left ahead of the storm blanketing the Midwest. My kids said it was a wet heavy snow not a fluffy oh look how pretty it is snow. When we arrived yesterday it was 87 today it is 57 and very windy but the forecast is for only two days of cold than back to the low 80’s.
Still fighting that darn sinus infection. Not fun
