My day has been mildly busy but not with quilting or sewing. I had a medical test to try and determine why the leg with the hip replacement is so weak that I have not been able to go up and stairs, get in my car with ease and get my jeans on without pain. Results in a few days. Then I made a couple of stops for supplies for an online embroidery class this weekend. My crafting life began when my mom taught me how to embroider bibs for my only sibling. I was almost six. I have done plenty of embroidery since then, but thought it might be fun to learn some new techniques. It will be a good blend with my new interest in wool applique too.
No celebrations this evening, because the folks I always gather with are sick and chose not to seek medical care this week. They cancelled and I am so glad, because I really did not want to expose myself to whatever has kept then under the weather for nearly two weeks. It will just watch TV, old movies, and what ever catches my fancy. It has been years and years since I spent New Year's Eve at home. Enjoy your evening and tomorrow in whatever way your chose, good food, good friends and good times to begin the 2026.
I will see you all around the bend when we begin to think about our next boomerang exchange.
