I cut my blues and my neutral strips yesterday; I'll cut the rectangles today, and then will go on to cut the squares for clue 5. I decided I would just cut squares from all of my purples, and use which ones look best. I bought some white paper grunge for the clue 5 centers, because I wanted the centers to go with my other grays, but I didn't like the grays themselves for block centers. I noticed Bonnie ended the clue with, 'that's it for this week,' so I guess that precludes any surprise clues this week.
It's nice and sunny here today. Our darling dog Emma is having a liver crisis and is at the vet's today getting fluids. Hubby is a rock solid guy until one of the dogs dies, and then he tends to fall apart. They'll do an ultrasound next week, hopefully it is something treatable.
