Yes, I bought the Clover ones highly recommended by a hand quilter. I have to tell you, I have very little patience for pins in any of my work. The flat heads are easier for me to use because...I'm weird like that. One quick pin to hold it in place and I'm off to do what I came to do. LOL.
The back basting works best for me because I'm accustomed to hand sewing and it goes very quickly. I somehow manage to pull my threads on the tiny pins, too...so I'd rather just go without. Am I the only one who hates pins?
