Funny this topic should come up while I am in a "deal with your scraps" period. I have spent the last two days ironing and cutting and organizing from my very full scrap bin. The bin is actually an old cat litter bucket, with scraps packed down in it. I got sick of not being able to stuff more scraps in it, so I am "dealing with them" now. I am trying to cut the 2.5 x 4.5" bricks from my scraps for some potato chip quilts. Many of the scraps are long and skinny tho, so those are being piled up to make strip quilts. If a scrap is too small to make a brick or a 2.5" charm square, it goes into a big bag for giveaway at my next guild meeting. Some people love making their crumb blocks, but I'm not one of them.

Finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel... the empty litter bucket. Soon I'll be able to sew these puppies together into colorful tops.
