I’m still chugging along here! I just finished the split rectangles and I can highly recommend the Deb Tucker ruler; using it, the blocks come out a little bit oversized and then you used the template on the ruler to trim them perfectly. Once I got the hang of it, wrapping my brain around the directions and all, it was super easy!
And I’ve started with the step where you start assembling the blocks with the hourglass blocks. All that crazy squaring up of even these tiny units has really paid off. They’re looking fantastic and needing only slivers trimmed to square up, if that.
