I finally finished the quilted jacket that I began last Fall. Had a little trouble with the pattern I chose (sleeve placement was just terrible), so unmade it and got another pattern, and had to Frankenstein the sleeves from it, lots of redoing but I got it finished.
I can't decide if it looks more like a robe than a jacket, but I like it. Dropped sleeves are definitely the way to go with a quilted jacket/robe/whatever, and if I make another one, I'll probably go with one with self-facing on the front. No batting in this one, just the pieced shell quilted to a very lightweight flannel. Still plenty cozy. Thanks for looking.
