I've used the freezer paper method a few times, on easier designs. Since you fold the paper exactly on the line, you stitch right up next to the fold. It's basically the same as stitching on the line and them folding the fabric over in the amount of take up. (I hope that makes sense). I've never had an issue with the next pieces lining up or the pattern being off. I have had an issue of the freezer paper becoming unstuck with a more complicated design. So something to be aware of while working.
Thank you so much, that is what I was thinking... I would only be using it for simple pieces that are replicated several times, thus the benefit of being able to re-use the papers...
