I purchased Wawak Medium-Strength Double -Sided Repositionable Basting Tape and tried it out just now on putting in a strip between my last row on my current quilt. I definitely like it. With taking the paper off, I just bend the end of the tape strip a tiny bit, fold it paper to paper side and the paper is easy to separate from the sticky side. It doesn't come off the paper by itself, but it peels really easy from the edge that way with my fingernail. I sew an 1/8" seam on my strips, so I positioned the tape edge a little further in than 1/8 of an inch and my needle doesn't hit it. The tape held my strip in place perfectly with no pinning or clipping. So much quicker than the heat 'n bond.

Now what to do with my remaining heat 'n bond...
