I have used Mr. Sewing Machine several times over the years and was always able to make an appointment and deliver the machine a day or two before the appointment date, but when I called them about the 1909 as well as my other 2 machines I was told I would need to bring the machines in and leave them for up to 3 months. That was unacceptable since I have no desire to be without any of my machines for up to 3 months. I think I would go batty without them, and besides I'd have nothing left to do but housework and I can't let that happen.

I haven't been able to find anyone else in the area that does that type of work. Do you have another source that you use? If so I would love to have their contact info.
