I'm happy to say I got the 2 quilts finished as I've shown you already but yesterday I decided to work on my French Braid and after measuring my bed for the 10th time and measuring how far I've put together on this quilt, all I needed to finish it was the 6 inch border. What a DUH moment that was. Of course my little boy fur baby has been leaving his hair all over it while it was on the design wall. Yes, he is talented. It took me over an hour to remove all the hair on both sides using a tape roller. It's now folded up high enough that he can't reach it. I also trimmed all the threads as this fabric frays terribly. After it's been quilted, I'll use my pinking rotary blade along the edges. I did trim the last seam with the pinking blade. So it's sort of finished but not quilted and I don't have any photos to show you as it's 95 long x 107 wide. This will go on an antique 4-poster walnut bed and it's a bit high off the ground with the newer mattresses I added about 5 years old. Here's a photo but it's folded up halfway to keep Boomer from grabbing the straight pins.
