Liner to hide wool batting color?
I am considering using wool batting in my not-yet-finished quilt. The quilt has a soft white background fabric (white, but not optic white or bright white). The wool batting I'm thinking about using is Quilters Dream Wool batting, which is a natural wool color, not bleached.
I don't want the wool's color to give a "shadow" to the quilt's background fabric. I have looked at lightweight muslin, but even that is $8 and up a yard online! I used to like JoAnn Fabrics' basic white muslin, but of course they are no longer in business.
Has anyone else needed to use a liner when using wool batting? What would you recommend as a liner for wool?
