Well today I am sending out a box of crumbs and an envelope of selvages -- and my sewing desk is cleared off.
I've been frightening myself by looking at what I have in a different way. Instead of counting totes, I'm figuring out the average weight of each and how much yardage that represents. While I have dramatically less fabric than I did before, I am still feeling like I have fabric way beyond reasonable life (or at least vision) expectancy. I still maintain we each get to have the amount we want, but I have more than I want and not all of it makes me happy.
I've been sort of between projects but I think I need to pull out the tote of civil war fabrics and just start cutting and stitching. I need to get better at my newish machine's seam allowance, this last Bonnie Hunter project was way too scant.
