Butterflyblue, it sounds like you've had a ton on your plate! It's totally okay to step back sometimes and just enjoy the scenery from the wagon. :-) I've also been struggling with getting stuff done in the sewing room but when I step back and look at the bigger picture, I can better understand that I am still being productive in other areas and although I'm not necessarily meeting my expectations in quilting, the sewing machine and fabric will be there when I'm willing and able.
I must say I was glad to hear of the rescue of that Star Wars fabric - the Force is with you!
