This is an excellent idea. Over the years, I have made hundreds of jar grippers for sale in my craft booths, and they are one of the things that people of all ages can use and appreciate receiving. Altho it makes little difference, there is actually a top and bottom side to the "bumps", with the back being a little smoother than the front side, at least on the material that I have used.
