Hopefully, others are enjoying the same stash reduction.
I have been piecing backings for so long that my stash of large but not large enough for a backing is seriously depleted. My preference is for the back to reflect the fabric, on the front. Thus, I allow myself to purchase backings if needed often 108 or from a sale bin at the fabric shop. Then I use the excess in a top down the road. But I still like to have a collection of backings to choose from for inspiration. For me...the back is often the starting point for the colors of the quilt top. Anyone else think this way?
