Thanks everyone, I did play with her for a few minutes before we left for the wedding. But... I'm back now so I can play some more now. :thumbup:
You're right about that! Folks at church found out I could sew and BOOM, I've sewn bridesmaid dresses (hated that one), seams in suit pants, replaced zippers, added "extentions" to dresses that were too short, hemmed pants that were too long, altered jackets, etc. Finally I learned to sometimes say no. I'm not asked to maked bridesmaid dresses anymore. I hate working with slick, unravely fabric. But I do still mend a little. Sometimes I say, "Do you have a portable machine?" If they say yes I'll tell them to bring it next Sunday and I'll stay after church and show them how to fix the problem. That usually solves two problems at once, their's and mine.
