Here is my April block that I will make into a placemat for Meals on Wheels. I trimmed the first round to 9” and then cut 7 1/2” squares for the 2nd round rather than the 7 1/4”. This way I could trim my block to 13” and it is easier to keep the points on the edges when I do the envelope style placemat.
