I actually looked at Nifty Fifty website, but couldn't find your quilt yesterday, then reread your opening post and found
the blocks (<-link) and then the quilt

Wow !!! 50 of them appliqued-it looks like there are 72 snowflakes. Did you fold and cut the fabric or did you do it in paper and trace to fabric? Those are really neat. I remember a long, long time ago cutting paper snowflakes.
