Yep Nana. Lol.
So the nails are pretty ... pretty long and awkward when you had none ... which makes sewing a challenge. Hopefully I'll be used to them by the time fabrics arrive.
. I remember these days. I sometimes wish she would still do my nails. Going to a shop is costly.

Bismark is a 6 hour ride. We will probably drive 3 hours and stop for lunch. Then back on the road, 6 hours should be a walk in the park after the 25 hour ride from Texas. Her folks and siblings will arrive about 10 PM , we are filling in for them. Several different events starting at 4 PM on Friday. Can’t wait to see her and Bismark N.D. Have never been in that area and the only thing I know about it is it’s supposed to be flat and windy
Today’s goal was 2 blocks but when you cut or sew everything wrong it takes way much more time. I did get frustrated but just your average every day frustration not the kind to send me into a funk
. The block still looks great.

I'm making a block about every other day which is much more slowly than usual. Now I'm selecting f8s that I consider tougher to work with, like those with large motifs. I've got one done but haven't taken pix yet. I'll try to post it tomorrow. I'm wondering what people find difficult. I've heard some not liking two color blocks, which of course I love to make.
Hope everyone gets their packages soon.
I also love working with two color blocks.

. Great block, love the puppies.

What a fun block for Biblistone.
Guess you can teach an old dog new tricks. Played with my new ruler and was able to figure it out. Yeah
cowboy boots not happy with the block, not enough contrast
. These blocks look good too. Glad you figured out the ruler.
my package arrived today. Complete with 19 little packages x2. I will get started this weekend making blocks.
