Hi All! I'm Vickie and live in Orange County, So. California. I self taught myself to quilt in 2000 by watching "Simply Quilts" on HGTV. I completed quite a few projects over a 2 year period and stopped for 8 years. I'm up and going again!
My husband bought me a Juki TL Q 98 and Grace Pro quilt frame 2 years ago for my 50th birthday that sat unassembled until recently. My son and dil just gave birth to twin girls and I completed two quilts FMQ on my set up. I have another quilt top that is almost complete for my 3.5 year old grandson; he's super excited and says, "it's awesome"!
While I was piecing the first quilt for the girls, I came to this board to research any problem I was having...let's say, I had to practically relearn!
This is a great board and am in awe of the talent and the help that you all bestow on us newbies.
